What is frequency?

Frequency is how often you do something.

always- siempre

rarely - rara vez
never - nunca
sometimes- a veces
once in awhile - de vez en cucndo
everyday - todos los dias
often - mucho
a little - poco

Where do we use the frequency words before or after the verb?

The expressions siempre, rara vez, and nunca usually placed before the verb.

example-

Isabel siempre llega tarde a la escuela.
Isabel rara vez habla español en la clase de inglés.
Isabel nunca usa un diccionario.

The expressions mucho and poco are usually placed after the verb.

example-
Ricardo estudia mucho.
Ricardo habla poco en la clase.

The frequency words , todoa los dias, a veces, and de vez en cuando can be placed at the beginning or the end of the sentence.

example-
Todos los días Isabel llega tarde.
A veces
De vez en cuando
Isabel llega tarde todos los días.
a veces.
de vez en cundo.




When do you use frequency words?

You use frequency words when you are telling how often you do something.

EXAMPLE:
Me gusta domir mucho .
Yo siempre ir tú escela.
Yo rara vez miro mi papa.

What would it be like if you didn't know the frequency words?

If you didn't know freqency words, your sentences would be incorrect. The frequency words are important when you talk about how often you do something.
